"That Dark Councilwoman" by É Vero Teatro

About the event

É Vero Teatro brings “That Dark Councilwoman” to Centro Polivalente Integrado de Lugones, a comedy that makes fun of politics from the inside. Its protagonist, Consuelo de Todos los Santos, is a defecting councilwoman who now aspires to chair the country and who, through sheer smiles, wins over the audience with an absurd and wacky platform.

The show plays with the format of a live political rally: the pressure of the moment, the slips of the tongue, the uncomfortable questions, and the alcohol end up revealing the character’s true intentions. The company presents the staging as a mix of humor, songs, and dance that does not shy away from reflection.
