The Day of the Women Writers is celebrated on the first Monday after October 15 to reclaim the work and legacy of female authors throughout history. On the occasion of this date, the FMCEyUP, through the Oficina de Normalización Llingüística, organizes together with the Mercado Ecológico y Artesano and the Departamento de Bibliotecas del Ayuntamiento de Gijón/Xixón a series of literary proposals under the cycle “Ente fueyes”.

These activities are part of the cultural programming for October, a month that is consolidated as the most literary of the year. The proposals seek to bring literature closer to the public through collaboration between different local entities. 📚
