Ensemble 4.70 and Pachi Poncela

Can you imagine traveling through time through music in one of the most special corners of Gijón? This recital is a perfect invitation to enjoy a unique atmosphere, evoking the spirit and melodies that brought the La Isla garden to life since its inauguration in 1870. 🌿

The event will take place on April 25, 2026 at 13:30 at the Jardín Botánico Atlántico de Gijón. Admission is free until full capacity is reached, making it an ideal plan to come and enjoy culture in an incomparable natural setting.

The program

This recital, titled La Isla: la pieza que faltaba, proposes that we imagine the music that accompanied the walks and gatherings of citizens at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. We will be able to listen to a selection of piano pages, songs, and pieces of popular inspiration that capture the Spanish musical essence of that era.
