About the author
Carlos Iglesias Díez (Oviedo, 1983) is a teacher of Spanish Language and Literature. He has published the books El niño de arena and Pájaro herido (BajAmar editores, 2018), which was awarded the 2019 Asturias Critics’ Prize. His works have been compiled in the volume El peso del silencio. Poemas reunidos 2004-2019 (2020).
In addition to his creative work, he has edited the Canciones Completas (1980-2008) by Luis Alberto de Cuenca and has collected part of his literary criticism in the volume Libros de aire (2025).
