Tereza, at 77 years old, has always lived in a small industrial city in Brazil. One day she receives an official notification from the government to relocate to a remote colony, created for retirees to spend their “last years” and thus leave space for the younger generation to be fully productive. But instead of accepting this imposed destination, Tereza rebels and decides to embark on a transformative journey through the Amazon, to fulfill a last wish before they take away her freedom. This will mark her life forever.
