The La Chiruca Mountain Group is organizing a hiking day in the Picos de Europa with two route options: the Tielve–Peña Maín–Sotres traverse and the Tielve–Sotres route.
Route details
- Long route: 14 km, 1,126 m of positive elevation gain, high difficulty.
- Short route: 9 km, 579 m of positive elevation gain, 286 m of negative elevation gain, moderate difficulty (estimated duration of 4 to 5 hours).
Practical information
The departure is scheduled for Sunday, September 27 at 6:30 AM from Pravia, with additional stops in Cudillero (AVIA gas station), Avilés (Parque Astur), and Gijón (Alcampo).
- Price: €18 for members, €20 for non-members. Non-federated individuals must pay an additional €15 for insurance.
- Registration: Deadline until Wednesday, September 23 at 8:00 PM (maximum 38 spots).
