El Cine del Coto. 'Paco de Lucía: la búsqueda' (C. Sánchez, 2014).

The film series dedicated to flamenco returns for the third consecutive year to the municipal centers with a selection of five titles scheduled for the month of October. This proposal is part of the program of the Fundación Municipal de Cultura, which also includes dance and performances by harpist Ana Crismán in October and guitarist Mercedes Luján in November.

The film program begins with the screening of Paco de Lucía: la búsqueda (Spain, 2014), a documentary directed by Curro Sánchez Varela with a duration of 95 minutes. You can find more information about this film at filmaffinity.com.

In addition to the film sessions, flamenco extends through the Arte en el barrio program with two prominent musical events:

• Ana Crismán: performance in October at the Ateneo La Calzada.
• Mercedes Luján: performance in November at El Llano.
