The play starts from a very special connection: what unites guys who wander thousands and thousands of miles apart from each other? That they are Asturians. From the transition to democracy to the present day, the show explores the sentimental ties and the sense of belonging of Asturians around the world, reflecting times of glory and crisis from the perspective of that common venue which is the chigre, transforming any theater into a “shrinking chigre”.

Five performers bring endearing characters to life and help us empathize with the way of being of Asturian men and women, of families, of the foriatu, the gallu, the babayu, the grandón, and the repunante, always from the elegance proposed by the author. 🎬
