The María Luisa Memorial Contest is one of the most prestigious and long-standing photography competitions, consolidated after decades of history. In its 37th edition, the contest continues to attract photographers and filmmakers from more than a hundred countries.
News and categories
This edition stands out for several important new features:
- Thematic category of the year: Dedicated to The Universe, allowing for the submission of images of planets, stars, and celestial bodies.
- Inclusion: The rules have been adapted to facilitate participation according to the needs of each contestant, inviting people with functional diversity to take an active part in the activities and the gala.
- Prizes: The prize for the absolute winner has been increased to 5,000 euros.
The contest maintains its usual categories, which include mountain, mountaineering, climbing, adventure, extreme sports, fauna, flora, underwater world, biodiversity, natural landscapes, and creative photography, as well as video and documentaries.
