ECOS is a unique performance that transforms the concept of Amabilidá into a collective sensory journey, uniting action art, video, and music to connect the Asturian tradition with the heart of Europe. The work travels the Camino Primitivo from Oviedo to Utrech, using the power of the Asturian bagpipes and the female oral tradition singing De la raíz del olivo to pay tribute to the historical role of women in building peace and gender equality.
This artistic proposal, which supports the candidacy of Asturias as European Capital of Culture in 2031, invites attendees to be part of a living fabric that seeks to break down inequalities and promote democratic values. The activity is part of the Noche Blanca de Oviedo 2026.
