To mark the celebration of the European Day of the Camino de Santiago 2026 and the European Heritage Days, Asturias joins this initiative that promotes the Camino as a space for meeting, exchange, and the construction of a shared identity. The commemoration is centered in the municipalities of Grandas de Salime and Llanes, representing the diversity of the Camino Primitivo and the Camino de la Costa.
From September 14 to 20, both municipalities will host an intense cultural program that includes:
- Exhibitions and concerts
- Conferences and guided tours
- Theatrical performances and historical reenactments
- Children’s workshops and demonstrations of traditional crafts
- Cultural itineraries and artistic interventions
This offer is free and seeks to create a dialogue between heritage, contemporary creativity, and citizen participation. To participate in the activities, prior registration is required through the official channels of the Museo Etnográfico de Grandas de Salime and the Casa Municipal de Cultura de Llanes.
