Each year, a town in Asturias is honored with the Paloma de la Fraternidad, and its people are welcomed in Navelgas with the affection and hospitality that constitute the hallmark of this town and, in general, of rural Asturias. The celebration is also joined by neighbors from distinguished localities in previous editions, along with visitors and tourists, creating a great festive atmosphere.
During the institutional act, the Chosco de Oro is also awarded to people and institutions that stand out in the promotion, dissemination and defense of Asturias, and the Arándano de Plata that distinguishes people or collectives that stand out with their contributions in the field of ethnography, folklore, gastronomy, music and other cultural manifestations…
