
Cangas de Onís celebrates Asturias Day and Covadonga Day with a festive program that combines tradition, music, crafts, and sports. The activities take place from September 4 to September 18, with the main day on September 8 featuring commemorative events at Lago Enol, the Real Sitio de Covadonga, and the center of Cangas de Onís.

- Mercado Artesano: Set up in the Plaza Camila Beceña on September 5 and 6.
- Tradición: Includes the Fisherman’s Festival, the Vegamaor Pilgrimage, and the traditional extraction of the Virgin of Covadonga from Lago Enol.
- Música: Concerts by Avalle, Cuco DJs, Bras Rodrigo, Corquiéu, and performances by the Bandina Tradicional Bricial Cangas de Onís.
- Deporte: Exhibitions of traditional sports and high-altitude log cutting.
The program concludes on September 18 in the Barrio de El Zanjón with folk performances and live music.
