Valdesoto hosts the Carriage Parade, a traditional procession that dates back to 1950 when a group of neighbors had the idea to attend the party with some decorated cars featuring traditional folkloric representations.

From then on, year after year, ingenuity, imagination, and art came together to represent on a carriage the most varied stamps of Asturian folklore, mythology, rural life, sailor, miner, picaresque, and popular humor.

In addition to the parade, the festival includes a fair, folk dances, member’s day, children’s day, and many other and attractive activities.
