Itineraries through Heritage: Candamo

Enjoy an unforgettable day exploring the historical and natural wealth of Candamo. This excursion combines a gentle 4.5 km hiking route between Ventosa and Villanueva with a cultural visit to the Centro de Interpretación de la Caverna de Candamo, where you can admire reproductions of the paintings from the Cueva de La Peña, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The day also includes free time to stroll through Grullos, the capital of the council, famous for its mix of traditional architecture, Indiano houses, and its well-kept public spaces.
