Tales to read with the lights off

While Alfred Hitchcock once presented a famous selection of tales to read with the lights on, here we will approach horror in the dark, transforming the Kafka & Co bookstore into the spookiest place in all of Oviedo. As a tribute to the best horror stories from the oral tradition, this activity consists of a dramatized performance of the best horror tales by classic authors (Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, or Katherine Mansfield, among others).

Furthermore, with lighting based on electric candles and flashlights, we will achieve an atmosphere that will transport us to authentic gothic horror and make you afraid to get up from your chair until the end of the story. This year we will include a sound system for a more impactful experience.
