About the exhibition 🏛️

This exhibition, organized by the Fundación Municipal de Cultura, Educación y Universidad Popular de Gijón, immerses us in the historical and current significance of the Mediterranean diet, recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Throughout its tour, you will discover a set of knowledge, rituals, and traditions that range from farming and fishing to the ways of transforming and sharing food. It is, in essence, a tribute to that “convivium” or gathering around the table that unites us as a community.
