The speaker Paulino García Suárez shares his journey from his retirement after 40 years in the public railways to becoming a passionate scholar of Asturian hórreos and paneras. This talk reviews how a suggestion from his friends transformed his personal interest into a dedicated hobby for the rural heritage of our region.
The event will take place at the Salón de actos Escuela de Comercio.
Paulino, a resident of Candás and a former student of the Fundación Revillagigedo, will recount in the first person his experience as a local from Antromero and his documentation work on these traditional structures. It is an intimate opportunity to learn firsthand about the work of someone who has dedicated his free time to highlighting such characteristic elements of our architecture. 🏛️
