Closing concert of the second edition of the Xixón Fem Music band incubator (Music Festival 2026)

Do you feel like enjoying an afternoon of live music and supporting local female talent? The Music Festival brings us a very special date at the Plaza de los Jardines del Náutico, where we will be able to discover the result of the Xixón Fem Music (XFM) project. 🎸

This event celebrates the closing of the second edition of the band incubator, an initiative by the Fundación de Cultura that seeks to make gender inequality in the music industry visible through the formation of new groups composed solely of women.

When and where: The event will take place at the Plaza de los Jardines del Náutico starting at 18:00h.

The featured bands 🎤

During the day, we will be able to enjoy the work of the current groups and those that were born in the first edition and that today continue their path autonomously. The bands that will take the stage are:

This entire creative process has been mentored by Sil Fernández, Mar Álvarez and Cris Montull, three professional musicians with recognized careers in Asturias who have guided these groups in their training. Don’t miss the opportunity to get to know these musical proposals in a unique atmosphere! ✨
