Nacho Duato Company: Gnawa, L'Amoroso and Jardí Tancat (47 Theater Festival)

La Compañía Nacho Duato returns to Teatro Bretón in Logroño, as part of the Theater Festival, with a triple program of choreographies by Nacho Duato. The company is a young formation founded by the choreographer along with several of his former dancers, with a dual purpose: to preserve his artistic legacy and offer a growth space for a new generation of performers.

Program:

• Gnawa, with Mediterranean root music.
• L’Amoroso, set to Venetian and Neapolitan baroque music.
• Jardí Tancat, featuring music by María del Mar Bonet.

All three pieces feature choreography by Nacho Duato, artistic director and founder of the company. He is joined by Emilia Jovanovich as assistant director, Nicolás Fischtel as technical director, and Luisa María Arias and Mar Baudessón as rehearsal directors. The cast includes Alice Rei de Fonseca, Afonso Rodrígues, Ana Echeverria, Blanca Álvarez, Chloe Billy, Christopher Hardy, Claudia Santamaría, Denis Montoya, Hugo Tulipano, Luca Pelaia, Ot Marian, Renata González, Riko Hamada, Samuel Benavides, Sara Ciafrone and Sem Briger.

The performance takes place on Sunday, November 8 at 19:30 at Teatro Bretón de los Herreros. It lasts approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, with two intermissions. Tickets cost 10, 15, 21 or 24 € depending on the zone and are sold on the theater’s website.
