Circo Astur de Cía. Vuelta y Media
Two Asturian circus artists arrive playing traditional music in a cart loaded with typical objects, antiques, instruments, and circus elements. One of them has mentally stayed in the time of the II Republic where, along with a larger troupe of artists, they were taking circus culture to places in Asturias where nothing like it had ever been seen. The other artist lives in the current reality and helps his companion to continue enjoying that happy time when the troupe triumphed from council to council.
Between the two artists, they will create a fun circus show that combines the traditional and the modern, developing different adventures lived or imagined: juggling numbers with apples, knives, devils, or balancing with bottles of cider seasoned with bagpipe and drum music.
