CINERAMA XXI | Los ilusos 13+13

The CINERAMA XXI series celebrates the cinema of the new century by reclaiming the theater experience as a meeting space, with a selection of twelve titles spanning the last twenty-five years. The program includes works by authors such as Wong Kar-wai, Lars von Trier, Ruben Östlund, Céline Sciamma, Carla Simón, Jonás Trueba, Hayao Miyazaki and a special tribute to Marjane Satrapi with the screening of Persépolis.

About the program

This proposal brings together prominent filmmakers from the international scene and includes a section dedicated to family animation. It is an opportunity to revisit essential films and discover how these works continue to engage with today’s audience. Although the series takes place over three weekends, the organization has already announced that there will be future editions to continue exploring this cinematic period.
