CINERAMA XXI| Force Majeure

CINERAMA XXI celebrates the cinema of the new century by reclaiming the theater experience as a meeting space, with a selection of twelve essential titles from the last twenty-five years. The series includes works by filmmakers such as Wong Kar-wai, Lars von Trier, Ruben Östlund, Céline Sciamma, Carla Simón, Jonás Trueba, Hayao Miyazaki and a special tribute to Marjane Satrapi with the screening of Persépolis.

The event takes place over three weekends and features a specific animation program for the whole family.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached. To attend, it is necessary to pick up an invitation in advance through the entradascultura.gijon.es platform.

This is an opportunity to revisit key films from the last two decades and rediscover them through a contemporary lens. Although the series covers twelve titles, the organizers have already announced that there will be future installments to continue exploring this cinematic period.
