CINERAMA XXI

CINERAMA XXI is an initiative by the Fundación Municipal de Cultura, Educación y Universidad Popular, programmed by the Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón/Xixón (FICX), which invites you to revisit the movie theater through a selection of great titles from the last 25 years. This series proposes rediscovering key works of the new century, from the sensitivity of Wong Kar-wai to the animation of Hayao Miyazaki, including a special tribute to Marjane Satrapi with the screening of Persépolis.

The series takes place over twelve titles distributed across three weekends, offering a look at the evolution of the seventh art with proposals that include auteur cinema, social satire, and a selection of independent animation for the whole family in morning sessions.
