The Teatro Selena company presents the comedy Ciao amore. Adiós Babayo at the Teatro Filarmónica de Oviedo, a play that narrates Maritere’s reinvention after discovering her husband’s infidelity and facing the sale of her home. This piece, written by Laura Camafreita Beato and directed by G.T. Selena, is part of the XIV Festival Nacional de Teatro Amateur “Ciudad de Oviedo” Memorial José Antonio Lobato.
The performance will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 19:30. The ticket price for the orchestra section is 5 euros.
Over the course of about 80 minutes, the story follows the protagonist as she goes through a process of change supported by her real estate agent. It is a tale that focuses on female solidarity, overcoming adversity, and personal empowerment, all with a comedic tone. 🎭
