“CELESTINA El BULULÚ”, versioned and adapted by Luis M. Casáus based on the immortal work by Fernando de Rojas for the best of the bululúes: Roberto Nistal. The great actor, like a Golden Age comedian, plays the twelve characters created by the author from La Puebla de Montalbán. A soliloquy about time enjoyed and lost, sex as pleasure and weapon, beauty as a gift and a curse, the joy of living despite everything. Nistal, in a masterful performance, gets under the skin of each one of them, especially that of the whore, procuress, and sorceress who carries in her eyes the price of lost beauty, independence fought for tooth and nail, and hidden intelligence. CELESTINA is female power in the shadows, and also the victim of her own cunning and greed.
