Cayón Trail. Piloña

Infiesto hosts the thirteenth edition of the Cayón Trail, a mountain race that combines sport and nature in the landscapes of eastern Asturias.

The event will feature a route of approximately 11 kilometers and 1,200 meters of accumulated elevation gain, with the start and finish line in the plaza Mayor de Infiesto. The itinerary runs mainly through trails and wooded areas of monte Cayón, passing through its recreational area, where one of the competition’s checkpoint controls will be located.

The race will be held in the afternoon, one of its main characteristics, which will allow participants to enjoy the landscapes surrounding Infiesto during the final hours of daylight. The competition will feature different male and female categories, ranging from cadets to veterans, and will bring together a maximum of 400 runners.
