The town of Arnao, in Castropol, will host a new edition of the charity event Castropol en Marcha on August 8. Under the slogan “Together we add hope,” the event seeks to raise funds for research into limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, directly supporting Proyecto Alpha and the Asociación Distrofia Muscular de Cinturas por Déficit de Sarcoglicanos.
The sports day will feature various categories for all audiences:
- Six-kilometer race
- Charity walk
- Children’s races
The event will begin at 11:00 and is organized by Proyecto Alpha, the Ayuntamiento de Castropol, and Castropol Deporte.
