The Carroza del Teatro Real returns to Avilés as the grand finale to the San Agustín 2026 festivities. This traveling stage will transform the plaza del Ayuntamiento into a large open-air auditorium, with more than a thousand chairs set up to enjoy a selection of opera and zarzuela.
The recital, lasting approximately 75 minutes, will feature a varied repertoire performed by a quartet of singers from the Crescendo program of the Fundación Amigos del Teatro Real. It is a unique opportunity to bring opera to all audiences in the heart of the city.
