Virgen de la Esperanza Race 2026

About the event

La Carrera Virgen de la Esperanza is dedicated to the patron saint of Logroño and runs through some of the most emblematic streets of the old town. The start and finish lines are at Plaza del Mercado, next to calle Portales. It is part of the Logroño Running Circuit and presents itself as a sporty way to start Christmas: participants can run dressed in Christmas-themed costumes.

The organization highlights five aspects of the event: sporting, healthy, inclusive, charitable, and touristic. The route has no architectural barriers, so people with disabilities can participate.
