The Carrera Popular Costa Tapia is held in Tapia de Casariego on August 16, 2026, as part of the XLVII Quincena Deportiva “Selín”. The race runs through iconic spots in the municipality such as the Ayuntamiento, the Puerto de Tapia, the Playa de Represas, As Poleas, and Punta Mirayos.
Modalidades y distancias
The day includes various categories adapted to different ages and levels:
- Absolute race and walk: 7 kilometers.
- Cadet and Children: 2 kilometers.
- Alevín: 1,400 meters.
- Benjamín: 700 meters.
- Pícaros: 200 meters.
