This recital, organized by the Fundación Municipal de Cultura, Educación y Universidad Popular de Gijón in collaboration with Juventudes Musicales de Gijón/Xixón, will feature the participation of:
- Diego Jiménez (cello)
- Sergio García (piano)
The 60-minute musical proposal will take us on a fascinating journey:
- Serenade Espagnole by Alexander Glazunov.
- Sonata in D minor, Op. 40 (1934) by Dmitri Shostakóvich, a work marked by intensity and dramatic contrasts.
- Sonata in G minor, Op. 19 (1901) by Sergei Rachmaninov, famous for its expansive lyricism and melodic richness.
