
The Parque de la Prehistoria de Teverga is organizing these practical bioconstruction workshops to celebrate European Rock Art Day. Participants will be able to learn about and experiment with the construction systems used in Asturias during the Iron Age, working with natural materials such as clay, wood, and stone.
Activities
Using a wooden structure, traditional techniques will be put into practice, such as:
- Hazel weaving and mud mortar.
- Construction of stone walls.
- Mud and vegetable fiber coatings.
- Creation of thatched roofs.

- Aimed at: All audiences from 8 years old (minors must be accompanied by an adult).
- Duration: 45 minutes.
- Capacity: 20 people per session.
- Price: €3.50 for Club Cultura members; €4 general price.
The activity is taught by the architect and craftsman Macario Iglesias. It is not necessary to purchase a ticket to the Park to participate in the workshop.
