The Barroco a Escena series arrives in Avilés with a program that recovers fundamental pieces and recent discoveries from the Spanish Golden Age. Through three different productions, the festival highlights Baroque dramaturgy, from the comedy of Lope de Vega to the proto-feminist perspective of María de Zayas.

- Saturday, August 1, 20:00 (Palacio Valdés): La francesa Laura, a comedy by Lope de Vega recovered by the Fundación Siglo de Oro.
- Sunday, August 2, 19:00 (Palacio de Camposagrado): El castigo de la miseria, a play based on a story by María de Zayas y Sotomayor, directed by Emilio Ruiz Barrachina.
Tickets for the performances at the Palacio Valdés are priced at €14.00, €20.00, and €24.00, while the performance at the Palacio de Camposagrado is priced at €10.00.
