Bandina La Garrapiella. Sobrescobio

The Bandina La Garrapiella recovers the spirit of the traditional Asturian groups that, in the past, traveled through villages to liven up pilgrimages and processions. Founded in Oviedo in 2013, this ensemble fuses the classic bagpipe and drum formation with instruments such as the diatonic accordion and the baritone sax.

Their musical proposal explores the traditional Asturian repertoire, also integrating melodies from neighboring countries and original compositions by its members, offering a renewed vision of roots music.
