The gathering “AsturIAnu: Desafíos y oportunidaes de la intelixencia artificial” brings together various professionals from technology, education, communication, and linguistic standardization to analyze the impact, opportunities, and challenges of artificial intelligence in the present and future of Asturian and minoritized languages.

📅 Program

• First day: Presentation of a neural machine translation project applied to Iberian languages, a practical training workshop on the creation of educational resources for teaching Asturian, and a talk.
• Second day: Processing of automatic audiovisual translation, a practical training workshop focused on the use of digital tools for linguistic standardization, and a roundtable discussion focused on the use and impact of artificial intelligence in journalism and digital media.
