A journey through the universe of Bach 🎻
Johann Sebastian Bach brought European Baroque music to its peak and has influenced composers and musicians to this day. But who influenced him? Bach transcribed and studied the music of Vivaldi with devotion, from whom he assimilated rhythmic dynamism. He deeply admired Händel, his contemporary, whom he tried to meet without success. And he was the heir to the freedom and fantasy of Biber, an exponent of the stylus phantasticus. All of them make up the universe around Bach.
