Verde and Blue are rehearsing. One hangs out the laundry and the other arrives with the eggs that the hens of a neighbor laid. In that first moment of encounter, they will talk about how life is going, about the pending tasks, and they will remember other rural women who, before them, worked the land, their own house and the neighbor’s, and everything necessary to get the family ahead. Women of yesterday, of today, and of tomorrow.
A dialogue that refers to what was learned from the women of before and the great legacy they left us. Fighting women who had many unpaid occupations, housewives, ranchers, farmers, seamstresses, storytellers… This last occupation, to which the protagonists now dedicate themselves, and to which they refer while rehearsing on stage a short story of oral tradition that Blue’s grandmother used to tell her when she was little.
