Detective Academy – Susana Sela workshop

Detective Academy is a children’s literature workshop by Susana Sela at the Casa de Cultura de Luarca (Valdés), as part of the Asturies, Cultura en Rede program.

The workshop delves into the world of mystery through a story that sets the right atmosphere. Participants will learn what a mystery is and what makes it exciting, recognizing key elements such as the detective, suspects, clues, and resolution. They will create their own detectives, deciding their name, appearance, personality, and special skills, and will develop the plot: setting, problem to solve, and suspects. They will also propose clues that lead to the resolution, including some false ones to distract the detective and create suspense. With all of this, they will write their own stories and illustrate them with drawings.
