61st Behobia – San Sebastián

La Behobia – San Sebastián is a 20-kilometer running race that connects the neighborhood of Behobia, in Irun, with the Alameda del Boulevard in Donostia/San Sebastián. The 61st edition is held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, organized by the Club Deportivo Fortuna with the sponsorship of Joma, with a maximum quota of 30,000 participants aged at least 16 years.

Horarios de salida desde Behobia:

• 9:30 wheelchairs and handbikes.
• 9:35 rollers.
• 9:55 women’s elite.
• 10:00 runners on foot, in groups according to bib color (seven categories and colors, assigned by proven time).

The maximum time is 2 h 35 min from passing the start mat, with mandatory withdrawals at km 10 (1 h 15 min) and at km 15 (1 h 55 min) from the last start. There are drink stations at the start, at km 1.8; 5.8; 9.5; 11.9; 14; 15.5; 17.8 and at the finish line, and fixed medical stations along the course. Timing is done with a MYLAPS bib-chip.

At the finish line, a medal and refreshment are provided; the gear drop-off is in Plaza Gipuzkoa, the massages are in Plaza de Santa Catalina and the meeting points are in Plaza de Okendo. Bags with bib and t-shirt are picked up from October 29 to November 7 at Forum Sport or the chosen store, or on November 6 and 7 at Kursaal for those who chose it; there is no bib pickup at the start. Registration (50 or 55 €) took place by a draw in the spring.
