The 47 Selmana de les Lletres Asturianes is a cultural celebration organized by the Government of Asturias that this year pays a well-deserved tribute to Taresa Cónsul, the first known playwright in the Asturian language, and to the popular and traditional theater of the region. For several days, the Principality is filled with activities that include theater, music, conferences, and literary presentations.

The event features an extensive program spread throughout the Asturian geography, highlighting:
- Concerts: Inauguration with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias (OSPA) and the Coro León de Oro.
- Performing Arts: Micro-theater performances, dramatized visits, and theatrical premieres such as A min nada m’in-Theresa.
- Culture and Debate: Round tables on the future of Asturian theater and conferences on the figure of Taresa Cónsul.
- School Activities: Recognition of the winners of the educational contests of the Ministry of Education.
