The 36th Exhibition of Plastic Arts of the Principality of Asturias brings together the work of young artists under 35 years of age selected by a jury of recognized expertise. The exhibition stands out for the sincerity and coherence of the seven selected artists, who explore themes such as the connection to one’s origin, nomadism, the conflict between the rural and the urban, and nostalgia.
The participating artists in this edition are:
- Andrea Álvarez Fernández (Asturias Young Plastic Arts Award 2024)
- Ruth Álvarez
- Jacinta Bujanda
- Alexis García-Pumarino
- Azul García Vargas
- David Pérez Busto
- Aida Valdés
The exhibition is committed to manual and pre-technological practices, using materials with a greater human and expressive charge compared to colder media. This activity is part of the Noche Blanca de Oviedo 2026. Access is free on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity is reached.
